Go beyond crunches and leg lifts to develop a stronger and more functional body.
In this 4-week series you will learn the system of postural muscles that comprise the core,
then learn how to use them effectively to develop better posture and a stronger center.
Add to this the muscles of the pelvis and legs to develop strength and more integrated functional movement.

Morning Immersion with Dylan Noebels

Monday - Wednesday - Friday, 6:15am - 7:30am

An immersion is the best way to develop and maintain a daily yoga practice. Requirements are the ability to wake up in the morning, the desire to do yoga, and a sense of humor.

This class series provides valuable resources for supporting the natural process of healing through gentle  Feldenkrais  based movement activities.  By stimulating the sensory and motor pathways of the nervous system that orient, guide and coordinate everyday actions such as balancing and weight shifting we improve our capacity to perform these functions.
Class series is open to anyone experiencing balancing difficulties.
$150 for series (includes ball and access to all materials)

Yoga for Special Needs: Youth with Molly Harrington

Tuesdays, 4:30pm - 5:30pm in Taj 1

This ongoing weekly class is for people with developmental disabilities and focuses on gentle stretching and strength building through postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), and relaxation (savasana). This is a fun class where participants can enjoy a group yoga practice. All ability levels welcome. Drop-ins welcome, multi-class passes are also available.
